I wanted to check if TNX.net has any backlinks in Google but it didn't show anything. Please tell me if it's true that they were banned from google. Thanks
They should have just used robots.txt and disallowed Google to even index them. Now they look bad for being deindexed.
Scheme seems harsh, but yes it is a good service, quick way to build links and manipulate Google - hence why Google doesn't like tnx - it's supposed to be organic search results in Google and not manipulated by purchased links, links to sites are supposed to be natural, I guess Google thinks that if a site gets natural backlinks then it's worthy of being in the top 10.
That's what we did from the very beginning, but it didn't stop Matt Cutts from manually banning the domain name TNX.net and lowering its SERPs. This has been discussed hundred times since the year of 2007 and has absolutely no impact on participating websites and advertisers.
I don't know a lot about link building, I considered using TNX.net for my link building needs, but since I couldn't find TNX on G, I decided to use other ways. Convince me to use your services, and that my websites will not be banned as well, and then I will use TNX again
it looks like the other way round, Tnx.net has baned google, check out their robot.txt, they have blocked google! So, it's a lot better now, as it's more secure now, since the google is no longer crawling tnx.net buying/selling links for your website from that site looks a lot safe!
I personally suggest you do not practice the link building technique. This will save you time, money and nerves. Sorry, I don't have much time to waste.
I manually deleted the site from google's index via robots.txt and google's site removal tool. Why would we need traffic from google to tnx.net when we already have ~50,000 users and 40,000,000 of pages and further growth is limited until we launch a new version of the system with new database and functions? And we also don't want google to crawl our site.
i think TNX is a great service, but i dont think deleting yourself from google was a good idea... just limit the sign ups, or make a waiting list or something else... or it could be a bad excuse for being banned...
