tmp Server Space

I've had my oldest server for almost 2 years now and it's less than neat, therefore I'm going through and trying to clean up everything that I can. I want to free up more space, etc...

When looking at my Disk Usage Viewer I noticed a few folders that were using up way more storage than they should and I was wondering if it was ok for me to delete them.

    tmp/analog 190.91 Meg
    tmp/awstats 120.80 Meg
    tmp/webalizer 111.25 Meg

I'm fairly certain they are just .txt files for archive purpose and looking back at stats. Technically, I think I could delete the older files I just wouldn't be able to look them up anymore, am I correct in thinking that? Any help or suggestions is appreciated. :)

Hello man.. see what you can do is to stop analog and webalizer webstats and it will help you to save the space. Awstats is good enough as compare to both of them. Awstats will help you to analyse your site position and optimization.

Yeah, I understand what they do, and I use awstats on a regular basis, along with G analytics, etc.... I'm just wondering if there is a way I can disable the archiving of the .txt files associated with the software.

yes, you can do it only if your server admin had done some changes in the tweak settings of the server.
