    Michael - is it possible to get conversion code placed on your landing pages, which people land on once submitting their email address?

    For anybody to use PPC this is a must.

    Cheers in advance.

    Adwords conversion code has the same format for everyone - an example below:

    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    var google_conversion_id = 1234567;
    var google_conversion_language = "en_GB";
    var google_conversion_format = "1";
    var google_conversion_color = "FFFFFF";
    if (1) {
    var google_conversion_value = 1;
    }
    var google_conversion_label = "default";
    //-->
    </script>

    I await your response.

    Cheers.

    Please can you get back to me with my above query Michael asap.

    This is just so I know whether the option of me going ahead with this is a 'definately not', or a 'maybe'.

    Regards.

    Can I also ask, is this a data entry affiliate?

    I know Google doesn't allow it in them T&C, so thought I'd ask.

    Do not advertise for data entry affiliate programmes.

    Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of data entry affiliate programmes. This includes ads directing users to sites that promote the creation/data entry of more ads that direct users to the same site.

    There are no exceptions to this policy, which is intended to protect both advertisers and AdWords users.

    Well by my understanding, with TML Media, we get paid when people submit their email addresses? I.e Entering their data.

    So I presumed this would come under Google's definition of a Data Entry Affiliate scheme, which they don't allow.

    No need to be confused I'm only enquiring.

    If it's a definate "No, people arent earning commission from people entering data" which is something Google don't allow, then that's fine, that's all I'm enquiring about.

    No this is pay per lead, but there are some offers like the free chocolate which could be seen as data entry. It depends whats being done with the visitors details :(

    Maybe someone else can give us a better explanation

    Exactly.

    There isn't much difference between 'pay per lead' and 'pay per email received' as they are both leads..

    The way 'pay per lead' affiliate programs differ to traditional affiliates is that no product has to be sold for us to earn something - we earn as soon as the email address is in TMLAffiliate's opt in list.

    This to me, certainly appears to be 'data entry affiliate'. I'm in no way saying whether it's a good or bad thing, I'm just saying I'd use Adwords if I was doing something like this and as they state it's not allowed, there would be little point undertaking this.
