It looks like MediaWhiz is a conglomerate of various other promotion sites. Hopefully TLA will stay relatively the same.

A good friend of mine got $900+ from them so far on a single PR5 women related site. :) and that's only up to this date this month.

I've some success with TLA. I'm not making a living on it, but bringing in $200-300/mo.

One thing I find interesting is that I have a site that went from PR4 to PR5 and it's traffic has gone up. Unfortunately, TLA has not raised the price of links on the site, though they have noted the increased PR (or as they call it, Link Popularity). I submitted another site yesterday to TLA with PR4 and considerably less traffic and it's ads are selling for more than my other site. Has anyone noted the events that must occur for the price of your link rentals to go up at TLA? Perhaps I just need to give them more time to make the adjustment.

I also have some success with TLA. They've sold a few spots on one of my websites in a fairly short period of time.

With MediaWhiz aquiring them I'm guessing they'll be adding some interesting stuff in the next while. They've got a good system going right now, and the added contacts and marketing experience that mediawhiz has may just push TLA's current seller's market to even better success.

I get around $21 US from one of my sites per month, three little TLA's which is pretty good as an extra income from a site that made nothing from adsense. The only problem with TLA's for me is that the TLA's are really not related to the content to the site whatsoever so the ads look very much out of place. Due to the link name and the site to which the TLA directs to, i really cannot imagine that the person who bought two of the three slots can make much of a return on his/her investment but since they are paying then I cannot complain too much ;)

Don't they have a clause that you can only sell through their program if you don't sell links any other way - anywhere else on your site? When I read that, I just knew I couldn't do it (I can't really expect them to get me Dutch links).

maybe this is a bit out of topic, but still this is about TLA.
I joined them on last 23rd Oct, and put their affiliate banner on one of my site. Just today, I checked my account, and I saw that I got one client referred by me on 31rd Oct!! LOL i'm so happy I got $25 in just a week :D.

So, I got excited and submit my site to be reviewed, and guess what... they approved my site almost instantly!! man, hoping so much I would get quite a decent money out of this.

I got a question though, on the affiliate FAQ, I read this :

So I wondered : Is it true that I would get $25 just for refering a new publisher? I mean, just getting ppl to sign up and put TLA banner on their site, I would get $25 each?

Anyone can help me on this one?

    Thanks

Yes, is true, they should just make a sale (buy a text link or sell a text link) and it would count.

I like Text-Link-Ads as a publisher they have got me 1 lead in 1 week and hopefully with MediaWhiz I will get even more exposure and be able to sell off all 8 links that I have for sale. The prices are not that bad either IMO for a advertiser. I have tried with the affilate banners but no luck yet $100 free for advertisers cmon how can you go wrong. :)

You will get $25 for publishers only if they put TLA code on their site from at least 7 days. :)

TLA is great for us as we get a steady profit from it. Hopefully this merge will be beneficial all for TLA, publishers, and advertisers.
