I honestly think I may have to tear up my credit cards because this is just insane. As if the 45.7 Million original estimate was not enough, now TJX says as many as 94 Million credit card accounts may have been exposed to potential fraud from their year and a half long data breach and that claims from the Visa cards alone is between $68 and $83 Million, that is not even including the Mastercard claims, and some are saying these claim amounts could raise up even higher over time as the ifnormation is sold around the globe. The part makes me the most sick about this is that banks seem to be the only ones sueing TJX seeking damage awards over the matter... I think it is pretty sad that rich old banks will probably end up being the only ones compensated for the hardship that people who are having their information fraudulantly used are going through.
