I have a wordpress blog. Recently I made changes to the URL structure - instead of default url structure - domain/date/title/ I changed it to domain/title/.

    Also I changed the title.

How detrimental it is since my site is already indexed in Google. I am setting up 301 redirects but what other problems should I anticipate?

You shouldn't experience any major problems, i have done this alot of times with blogs, forums etc and re-written URL's from strings such as index.php?=1234 to forum/my-post-title.html and various other forms.

As long as your 301 is in place for old to new. It may take a while for Googles index to reflect the changes in it's index depending on your backlinks/crawling/cache update frequency.

Things might even pick up slightly after removing the irrelevant date from the URL string and moving to keyword only URL's plus updating the titles.

    Best of luck.
