quick question: Below is an example of my prior title tage:

Always Running / shoes / cothing

I added one word to my title tag : Always Running LLC / shoes / cothing.

My ranking had dropped significantly. I understand google does not like changes but I was renaked on the first page and now I can not find my page.

    Help / suggestions?

    wait for sometime
simultaneously make changes in your content too relevant to the changed title

For what term has your ranking dropped? Is it for the changed term in your title tag?

You are right, Google does not particularly like page changes like this. When anything on your website changes drastically Google wants to make sure that your website is still worthy of rankings. Also they don't want you to be able to keep tweaking your website to see what effect it has on rankings.

So just be patient and the rankings should come back. We recently changed the title on our website homepage and temporarily lost some rankings but they came back soon after. It does help to have a strong link profile as Google would trust you more. So building more backlinks may be a good idea.
