    Good information on creating a title tag. I can't agree with the part about placing the company name first. I have never seen any reason to place it first and there are theories that words at the start of the title tag may get more weight for ranking than words at the end of the title tag. I alway try to keep my targeted search terms first and follow it with the company name. On internal pages of a site I sometimes leave out the company name depending on the amount of words I am placing in the title tag. Here is an example...

    That is another great method that you can use when creating your title tag, however we have tested this method and it appears as if Google gives more authority to sites that start with the company name. That's not to say that websites without it will not rank well as that is simply not true. The methods we list are simply the techniques that we have found that work for us!

    You're welcome to test these things out for yourself and see which is best!
