    Hi,
I currently run a blog on Google's blogger platform which has around 3400 pages indexed in Google. As with all blogger blogs my blog's individual post pages are indexed by Google as
[Blog Name] : [Post Title] format.

For example if my blog title is "MyOwn Blog" and my post title is "This is a sample post title",

    it's indexed in SERP as:
MyOwn Blog : This is a sample post title

I know how to tweak the blogger HTML so that the blog title can be displayed at the end. Ex-
This is a sample post title : MyOwn Blog
    (Tweak found here: hxxp://learning-computer-programming.blogspot.com/2008/05/new-working-method-of-making-blogger.html)

If i implement this change it will affect all my posts including those published and indexed earlier. How would Google react to such a large scale change? Would there be any bad effects that I should be afraid of? Will Google mistake this for some sort of black hat SEO method? I dont want to risk anything because 60% of all my blog traffic is from Google search.

Would be greateful if anyone could help. Thanks in advance.

Even if you switch all of them at the same time, Google isn't going to spider all of them at the same time - so it wont even know that all of them were changed at the same time. Furthermore, I cant think of a logical reason Google would want to penalize you for making a change like that. Make the switch. Even if google notices it, they wont penalize you for it and it will improve rankings in the long run.

    BILZ,
How do you think it will affect SERP rankings in the short run? Will it put my pages already in page 1 to somewhere deep down (till the SERP rating regains later) or will the rankings stay mostly the same? Thanks for your response

I would predict that the rankings will either stay the same or improve. I really cant see anything negative coming from this switch. "page title | site name" is the naming convention I always recommend - switching to it isn't gonna hurt you, only help you.
