Title & description gone after server move?

We moved our website from a shared server to a dedicated server last Friday. I noticed this morning a few (not all) of our #1 ranked keywords the title and description disappeared. The keywords is still ranked # 1, only the title and description is gone.

Will a move to a different server move cause this?

 

Something weird happened to my website too, the homepage lost cache even it's still in SERPs, some pages disappeared, but everything has back to normal after 3 weeks.

 

This occur after you moved your site?

 

Yes, I also asked here when it got longer than two weeks. But everything is fine now, don't worry about it.

We are moving server next week- the duplicate site has been checked and double checked and all niggles sorted. Am I right in thinking that it takes about 2-3 weeks to settle down and not to panic if odd things happen to our rankings!?!

 

i've read that moving does take some time for things to fall back into place.

I've recently done some redirects using 301 in .htaccess and am noticing the new pages get their page rank back.
