Title Color Question

Many so called gurus/experts in adsense placing say that title color should be 0000FF (blue link color widely used for links) But my question is what should i do if links on my website are red? Or what if my background is dark or almost blue, then title color of adsense ads should not be blue. WHat to do then?

Please give me some answers on this so common problems in placing ads.

    HI Dadaas,

The regular way for me would be to blend the ads in. In essence if your links are normally red, then make the adsense links also red. Same with the background.

Perhaps vary the shade a bit in the background of ads to make them pop-out.

    why post here then?
Personally I'd test it with red links for two weeks and see how you get on, testing costs nothing

change your site's link to blue if you don't want to change adsense's link color.. I don't know, it doesn't matter much, but yes blue is the historical color of links (with purple indicating an already visited page) but it's been a long time those are not the default anymore, everyone newbies publish online with blogs or cms which come with template were the default link color depends on the theme.

Blue is best with the exception of your site's color base using some other primary or secondary color such as Red... If you have just the smallest bit of blue, use blue text for title and a different blue shade for links.

You can try both, experiment with it. Test how will it work. I think it will not hurt changing your site link to blue for 1 week and red for another week, being that done, you can now get a valid thought on which is better.

Just about everyone I've seen succeeding with Adsense has advocated blending the ads in with the colors already on your site. But it's true that testing won't cost you anything and you can go with whatever converts best.
