Hi Would I be correct in saying that the combination of the Title of your web page and the Text inside the Description Tags gives the Google search user a good visual search result. Or is it the first paragraph of your page. Can you control this.. Cheers Possum.
Yes you are absolutely correct. Use your main Keyword in Title and all the secondary Keywords in your Description.
it depends on the search term although yes, title and text inside the description tags play a major part. But if that search keyword is also included elsewhere in the page, that part is also shown as part of the description in the google search result. so basically: 1) title tag 2) wherever the "search keyword or text" is located in the description meta tag plus the rest of the text body in the page
Yes, of course! Make pages with "How_to_.." and so on. Try to make every sentence on your page full of keywords.
Always keep in mind that - the words in bold are the best way to start a site if you want Google to love it. Best of luck
Hmm. Google emphasizes on Title tag and then Meta description and then H1 to H6 tags and Bold texts in the web page itself. Google does not emphasize on Meta tag Keywords.
Ya thats true, your main 3 keywords should be under 150 characters in description tag, as Google only show 150 characters in snippet portion. Keep keywords relevant to the content.
Well, KW use and KW positioning are one of the important factors in SE ranking.. YOu should choose the areas (probably the best) in which you'll keep your KWs
Yes it gives value. We know that it can helps to improved SERP but we can't directly control the result. We just need to work hard for it and be patient.
Even tho description will give weight to how site will rank (but to a small weight I mean) I would not concentrate on using "keywords" actually on description meta tag but rather will use a descriptive teaser that users will be able to read on the SERPs when performing a search. This will more likely increase the click through rate rather than rank you higher, but thats what we want..clicks..no?
