Tired of Stupid People on DP {a rant}

So, I need to vent. I am SO sick and tired of the "stereo-type" spammer from India or other spam heavy country. After each post I make I am inundated with spam private messages, saying "hey, I have this list of blogs that you might want to buy a link on"

Of course, the private messages are not targeted to my post at all. they are just cut and paste spam.

SECOND RANT:

Why , why, why do people not quote the original message in a private message. ??? I get hundreds of private messages across the 10 or so forums I use and people send me one liners like..."ok lets make a deal" or "how about $25". Sigh. so then I have to go through all the posts I have looked at or participated in to figure out what the idiot is talking about. this is even after I have requested people QUOTE the entire message.

Sigh. Please tell me I am not alone here.

 

i am not here for a long time but i do recognize this behaviour very well from other forums. stay away from those twats.
i hate those one-liners and copy and paste postings. spamming of the worst kind. the worst part is wenn you think you have seen
of found something interesting and contact the OP only to recieve a uninterested one-liner in return. geez we must be doing something wrong if
people can make money this way ? nah, i dont want to sink that deep and become like that. sorry for you experience just wanted to let you know

Same problem to me, instead they could provide the link to the thread if they are lazy.
Stupid peoples.

 

Happened all the time. I usually just forward that message to the mods with a reason why they should take action against them and later delete the message.
If they can't even do things properly, don't bother to check them even further.

 

we should be allowed to leave negative itrader for crap like this. How about it mods? lol

Just leave them to mods to decide and move on.

 

Yes this second rant usually happens to me on WF as well as on DP. I also have to go back to my mails and check what was this whole conversation about.. phew !!!
There are option to send PM with the previous quotes, which most of the forum new comers never use.

 

if you receive unsolicited PM's, use the report PM button, they'll get whats coming to them.
