Tired of getting blocked?

    Hello!

I'm getting ready to offer SSL VPN Tunnel services, and so far it's worked quite nicely. Basically, I've been staying at some hotels lately which block certain ports. The software I'm using allows you to redirect ports to go through one tunnel, and this port is open everywhere. The tunnel redirects all ports through SSL port 443. This port is open on any internet connection, because it's widely used. A good example of this is, I've been using remote desktop a lot lately, and it uses port 3389, and there have been times that it's blocked. So to get around that, I log into the VPN, and I start the tunnel. It downloads a Java based agent which allows you to listen locally for certain ports, and it takes it and redirects it through port 443, and then allows it to go through. It's similar to a proxy, but for applications. There's no software to install, and it's very simple to login. You can create tunnels for any application. You could even use it as a web proxy if needed. You can also serve applications through it, but I haven't tested that functionality for thoroughly. Pricing hasn't been decided, but I wanted to see what everyone thinks about it, or if it's even desired.

    Thanks!

Not exactly, it sounds like what you are talking about is a proxy, and what I am talking about is completely different. This is ten times more able than a proxy. You can take several applications and clients and serve them through this application. You can use the tool I'm speaking of as a proxy, but it's so much more than that. It's a full fledged, web based, encrypted, VPN client. A proxy can do some stuff, but this client can redirect whole applications, not just internet. You could re-direct games, FTP clients, practically anything.
