Lately my eyes are very tired so I'm having problems to work at the computer. I can look at the monitor less than 1 hour a day and then starts headache and I'm having hard time keeping my eyes open. Like I need a sleep-but I don't. I was working nights long time. This started happening at work 6 months ago. I had a very bad LCD screen at work. I would be very tired in the morning. But I had no problem working at home on my old CRT monitor. I quit my job 15 days ago, but problem doesn't stop. I'm sleeping properly and spend less than few hours at the computer. I thought someone will explain this to me,since you all work with the computers. Any ideas?
I prefer you to check and test your eyes @ hospital! because computers constant users usually similar kind of eye-sight ! If your eye-sight seems to perfect then analyze yourself is there any mental stress you which is troubling you in form of Headache
I am sure you have number in your eyes so better consult doctor and test your eye-sight. Wear suitable numbered glass to avoid more trouble. DON.
You must have overworked your eyes. It's good that you quit your job before you ruin your eyes. Get a medical checkup as soon as you can. Sleep early and let your eyes not work for several months. Follow your doctor's advice.
You should see a doctor. I recently bought some Gunnar glasses and they really do help w/ eye strain and fatigue. http://www.zappos.com/gunnar-optiks
My friend also had the same problem. He contacted local eye specialist. Now he is working on computer with eye glasses.
Why not try these tips? 1. After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes. 2. Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them. 3. Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body.
When my eyes are tired in the and of a difficult day I prefer to drop special medicine in each eye. And of course it is important to sleep enough - at least 7 hours a day.
I went to see a doctor. My eye sight is OK. I'm just to tired. She gave me some eye drops. I need to see her in 10 days to check the progress. Funny thing, I've quit my stupid job to work online and now I have to wait 10 days. But it will be over quick. Thanks for the advices!
I had same problem with my previous LCD. I constantly had headaches. Changing LCD helped me a lot. I also sleep better now.
