Traffic is the source of life for any website. Without it, your website cannot support itself and will slowly die off. Traffic is also directly proportional to revenue. More traffic equals more money in your wallet. With this in mind, here are some ways to get more traffic to your website without going broke.

• The best way and traditional way is to offer good quality articles on your site. Good websites spread like diseases. If your website can help many of your visitors, they will start a chain telling everyone they know. Pretty soon, your traffic stats will soar through the sky.
• Have contests. Contests can be great link bait, and they don’t have to cost a thing. You can giveaway something that you already own or have sponsors donate items. If your contest is easy to enter and free, people will flock to your site like sheep.
• Give away a free ebook you wrote. A great example is John Chow’s ebook. His ebook taught you his personal tips and tricks of making money online. He made the book free, and it served as a great linkbait.

• Sell bumper stickers or T-shirts. When people stick these stickers on their car or T-shirts, they will create walking ads. You also get more revenue.
• Focus your content is an important thing. Don’t get too off topic otherwise you will lose your visitors interest.

Yes, John ebook is worth it. I was able to double my Adsense with one tip. Of course, it was before I came here and learn more

Contest are good but I did not get that many entries. I made it a simple cut and paste for blogs. I added a twist that if the entry was before the next PageRank, I would double the main prize. I also included those with not sites.

Yes John Chows book is great I know probably 20 people personally who do internet marketing or have blogs and have increased profits from it and best is that it is free

You can also regularly submit articles to places like ezinearticles.com, including links back to your site in the author's description at the end. Anyone using these articles will then have to include the links back to your site - increasing your PR, search engine placement, and traffic.

Right now, my focus is producing quality content for some Google loving. You're right, if you produce quality content to your websites, the traffic will follow. Your page will earn you top spots in Google. Additionally, I do blog commenting and submission to social bookmarking sites. Just need to work on it to beef up traffic. EZA and article directories are also great. Create a nice resource box that will entice your readers to click the link to your website.
