I see so many posts here where people are struggling in the Search Engine game. The problem is everyone over-complicates the whole process. Here are some tips to get you on the right track. 1. Make sure your On-Site SEO is optimized for the main keyword you are promoting. This is very important. 2. Add Fresh, Unique, QUALITY, content to your site daily/weekly(depends what type of site you have) Keep it as fresh as possible though, and make sure it is UNIQUE, QUALITY content. 3. Keep a steady stream of backlinks pointing towards your site. I would say if you are just starting, don't stress to much about PR, or No-follow/Do-follow, just keep a steady stream coming in. After you get some links and see how everything works, then you can start trying to get quality, higher PR links. Thats it, just keep it simple, but be consistent. Hope this helps some people. Any questions feel free to message me. Best of luck, Justin
The quality of links is probably the most important point you've highlighted. Ezine article backlinks probably arn't going to cut it. I've been "guest blogging" in return for backlinks which has been working well and bringing me a handful of HIGH quality PR back links every week. They are relevant too, so I get some click throughs
I think where most people fail is adding the regular content and unless you have your backlinking services outsourced, most people bomb out with the monotony of this task even with automation tools (talking from experience there!) .... unless they are hugely driven! But you're right, persistence is key!
Backlinks: I would add quality backlinks to my money site and then would add crap backlinks to my backlinks (using automation tools).
I'm going to start my own business with your tips, thanks Hahaha only kidding, nice simple advice but so true
Yes , keep adding the new , high quality contents to our sites , i belive google crawler ,and of course the visitors like this also !
Links should be preferred for their quality and not their quantity. Great tips for someone who is new at the business. Generally speaking, this is all there is to it, and people think that SEO is rocket science or something.
Thanks for advice. I think another best tip to reach top in the search engine is simply follow search engine guidelines. Do not anything that may flagged as spam. In the case back link building I think getting links from authority sites are truly useful.
Good advice in this thread. Advice from my own experience is that simply allowing an app or plugin to generate backlinks automatically is a bad idea. I had several sites that never generated a darn thing simply because I fell for they hype that some app or plugin would do the work for me. I allowed my sites to be cluttered up with crap backlinks that didn't help me do anything but waste my time. Good advice is to do some work and generate quality backlinks on your own... with a little elbow grease. Let me tell you from experience, you won't regret the time spent doing it the right way by avoiding the frustration of doing it the wrong way.
Consistently build Quality Backlinks. There's all there is to it. Of course you can create buffer sites and spam the crap out of them with xrumer and such, but still, the above is as basic as it gets.
Nice tips, basic rules is to ensure your keywords are in the title, meta description, and meta keywords, and spread about naturally in the content
