I created a car related website, which main attraction are technical specifications.

It has been 6 months by now and for some reason it has stagnated in terms of daily visits and clicks on the ads.

It gets about 3200 visits a month and 30.000 pages.
What can i do to improve the number os visits?

I already added the website to google, yahoo, altavista, etc, in fact all the mainstream search engines.

The content is updated weekly and i make sure that the quality of the information is the best, to make it different from similar websites.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Almost forgot the link... www.ultimatespecs.com :)

Add more "Pit Babe of the Week" photos and you'll bring out all of the guys!

Seriously, when I clicked on a VW link, your ads were flush right. Is there anyway you can bring the ad close in? Also, consider a left tower ad too...I generally see 2 to 1 click thrus on my busiest site here. This site averages, by the way, about $15 per day for AdSense so that $2 per week figure you mention is terrible.

Your ads blend in, but then again they need to be positioned closer to your content.

The guys may be more interested in babes and wheels then ads, so you need to give them a reason to click, click, and click.

One more thing -- is there any reason why your site only has 29 backlinks?

    http://www.linkverve.com/blchecker.php

Out of those, only one has PageRank -- PR1, which explains your low ranking.

Work on an aggressive linking strategy too -- you will bring in additional traffic by offering more links and getting more sites to link to you.

How? On boards, most of them simply delete your post...

Not spam on boards, but link exchange, buy some links, wordpress comments with your url in the title, etc.
If you just spam the users with your site of course they will delete it.

Or put "pit babe of the week on main page and a small box on the right about cars... Just kidding but the babe was really hot.
Anyway, link exchanging would be a nice thing to try out.
And, for blending your ad units, you could try #F7F7F7 as background color, instead of plain white.
