I have tried to put "." in the second line in adwords. This make the ads more visible in long ad lists. For me, it increases a lot CTR and decrease price per clic Example : Do you know other good ways to increase CRT ?
Losing the whole second line is too much to give up imo. CTR may increase but you can't qualify a visitor as well with one line of text as you can with two. My 2 cents.
In my case, conversion rate is similar and price per click was 20% less. But of course, you should always track conversion when you change your ads...
I'd definitely suggest testing this (and any other unorthodox ideas) against a standard advert. Generally, changing your advert text won't change your conversion rate, unless you make the advert vague or misleading. And it'll only improve the cpc if it increases the ctr, and that'll take a bit of time to translate to a better QS. I'm dubious about the effectiveness of this advert - you aren't doing anything to differentiate yourself from the competition - no USP, no price, no guarantee of quality, just a vague description of what you do... I think I prefer the alternative that's showing at the moment on Google, with two short lines (though I still don't love it - it should be capitalised for one thing). Good luck...
ya know what else would get the ad noticed instead of "." this: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people would click on it just to see whats goin on. For example Heading: !!!!!!!!!!!! 1st Line:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2nd Line:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Site: !!!!!!!!!!!!
lol, I will try Actually, the tip didn't work for our ads/seo site. But for our video site, it works very well.
