    * ‘Creativity’ is the finger Rule:To acquire the quality buying and selling at the website, it is significant to get the website attractive. It does not stand for that for achieving the attractiveness you should randomize and a good matrimonial prospect every hue but people prefer simple and sober websites.

    * User befitting a friend Site Navigation:Website navigation is the most expected anything that contributes causally to a result that should be achieved by the great website design. You should not bring divulge everything about your website by your own.

So apply flash files that are smaller in physical magnitude which shall support your customer to acquire a quick reaction from your side.

I'd also recommend to choose Magento commerce shopping cart software for running e-commerce websites.

For me, by far the most important thing is customer experience. And this doesn't centre around how attractive the site looks (yes it must look good) but this doesn't necessarily mean complicated design, just simple and clean allowing easy functionality to win out. The purhcase process for customers must be extremely easy and all the information and guides they could want about the product should be easily displayed. That's how the top retailers do it at the moment.

In my opinion, first of all, you have to get your websited exposured enough, so that customers can find your website easily and then know about your products and service. Also, rank your keywords top in google is a very effective way, still, Google Adwords needs you invest more but equally it will pay you more back. Since online marketing competition is getting more and more intense, you got to find your own way that suit your field best.

Thanks a lot for the information. It would have been more helpful if you would have added some shopping carts information like magento, cube cart, etc.

We actually just started a new web series on this. It's an interesting conversion. In our experience great Google ranking and tons of traffic means nothing if you can not convert that traffic/ranking into actual orders. For many people they have to put enough focus on their site to generate and install confidence in their customers. Meaning they have very poor or non-existent conversion ratios because their customers dont trust them or the transaction. The first step anyone should take in developing a website is to wireframe the customer experience. Ensure that it is user friendly, then you move on to design - making sure you display a brand the projects honesty, credibility, and authenticity. (ie you can trust us, we are real & when you order from us we will keep your information safe and get your product to you on-time).

Because you as the business owner are not there to tell the customer this yourself, your websites appearance has to do this for me. Remember a picture tells 1000 words, and within 6 seconds of your customer ariving it's going to tell them everything they want to know about you and your company. Make sure it is the right message.

For those interested they can follow our 30 day web series on improving online customer conversion on our blog at www.RedRokk.com

After spending more than 20 years in sales and marketing and the last three years owning a full time luctrative website business with several sites, I can tell you the key is solving customer problems. You may think that customers are buying products, which they are, but they are really going to buy from the place that solves their problem(s) best.

Do you provide all of the information about your products that a customer might want to know or do you just copy the same information everybody else gets from the manufacturer and slap it on your product pages? Do you have tabs next to products showing warranty information, users manuals or installation instructions, if applicable? Do you answer the question of why they should buy from you and not someone else? Have you put enough information on your website to instill trust - privacy policies, price guarantees, reasonable return policies - and have you displayed those trust factors prominently enough for a customer to notice them?

Obviously, having a reasonable price and a professional looking website are extremely important. The use of proper grammar and spelling is essential, too. All of these things contribute to trust as well. Ultimately, if you have answered their questions about the products and why they should buy from you, your conversions will soar and, quite often, you can get a little more money than the next guy for the same exact thing.

Oh, and I use Zulu Cart. It's a brand new shopping cart but it offers incredible flexibility of design, has a very reasonable monthly price that includes hosting and you don't need a doctorate in Geekology to use it. You can change virtually everything about the look right from Admin and never have to go into your cPanel.
