I have same tips for social bookmark user, to increase traffic using social bookmark. 1. After submit your site, please do some voting and visit other one story. By this way other one also will do voting and visit your site. 2. Most of social bookmark allow multiple account for the user. So you can do this to vote to your own story (strategy to go to front page) 3. You'd better do manual submission and don't do copy content with story you submit to other social bookmark. 4. Provide description at least 200 character (for search engine friendly) You can try using the link of 300+ social bookmark below
You'd better do manual submission and don't do copy content with story you submit to other social bookmark. do u mean if ve to submitted story to 50+bookmarking site ..then i must have 50 stories?
I could not agree with this point. strategy for front page is based on number of votes, user of the votes, user age, article age, article visitor and so on. lots of concerns are there for becoming in a front page.
I have heard many things like this that, i would like to question as well. When submitting an article to 10 sites, do u need 10 different articles? Also, how does submitting an article promote your website? Do you throw in a link to your site at the bottom of the article? I am new to SEO, my site has been online for only 8 months, and ive never really invested the time and day to do so. If someone could please PM me with the answers to my questions, it would be helpful, because i probably wont find my way back to this thread. Thanks, -Jonny (CEO Pocketbook Promotions)
This is great advise. I thought voting for your own story with different accounts will get you banned?
That's ok! I agree with you. In my experience using social bookmark, if a social bookmark owner does not allow multiple account, they will record the user ip address. So even we do voting many times with multiple account, we can't do it. But some of social bookmark owner just let it be.
I think there are two different discussions in this thread....one is on sites such as digg, stumble, technorati etc. and the other is on article directories. For the article directories, it depends on which one you are submitting to as to whether you can submit the same article to another directory or not.
I think our discussion is not about article directory or article submission. What we are talking is the story which we write on the description box at a social bookmarking site. What we talk if it may not be same story is this item; the story which we write on the description box at a social bookmarking site.
