Hi, how to know if your site is in sandbox? Im not sure if mine is in sandbox. I created my site on NOv 2010 and Dec - 2nd week January, it was on 1st spot for specific KW and 15th spot on another KW. Then until today, it could not be found on Serp only its backlinks. Content are fresh and unique.

Do you think my site has been penalized?

I guess your site is not sandboxed at all.
If you have been sandboxed at all, then you have to wait for a certain period of time.

You can't request Google to pull out your site from the sandbox- request for reconsideration needs to be given only if you were trying blackhat SEO or violating any of the webmaster guidelines due to which, your sites got banned... If it still has a pagerank, and isn't removed from the search results, then sending request for reconsideration won't help...

Link building, and trying to improve Alexa rank of your site will help a lot! Keep updating your blog min twice a week until it's in Sandbox :)

What you did is not to make your site get out of Google sandbox because sandbox doesn't tend to exist at all. You have optimized your site that makes your site rank.

Thanks for sharing this information, SSALinks! Some do say that a site is usually sandboxed for 90 to 180 days. But I'm glad you got out of it pretty fast.

Just keep building a good quality site and increase your traffic to rank up faster :)

Try building links without anchor texts. Over anchor-text saturation is a common problem.

Thats very good sharing and i want to tell you some if you really come out then you have to explain or provide information which boosts the image on your site. For example number of unique posts you have, number of one way backlinks you have, number of unique visitors daily, awards your site has got etc.

my site is sandboxed because a competitor decided to blast comments using my website. It takes a month to build more quality backlinks and article submissions. It came up as #2 in serp for few days, but then missing again for weeks. So for those who asked about what did you do to deserve this when your web has high quality articles, well, perhaps your competitors do that to you :)

To get out from sand box you have to perform some activities.. First you have to focus on Organic SEO rather then paid linking.. Remove the Paid Links that you thought are not valuable for you.. Keep focus and motivated to build link with Social Bookmarking, Forum Posting, Blog Commenting and write some unique and fresh content to get out from sandbox as early as possible...

There is actually no need to get out of the sandbox since sandbox doesn't seem to exist at all. It was just a myth and never really happen at all.

If you are stuck in the sandbox, you are suffering from an equation in the google algorithm. Nothing you do onsite or offsite will cure this, if you are given a 90 day sandbox for too many inbound links, you will suffer for 90 days.

If you are given 180 day sandbox for spammy type backlinks, you will receive 180 days sandbox etc.

Nothing you do will alter this, you simply do your time.
