The title tag should be used what it's for; to make an accurate short title of the web page. This should not be used to stuff keywords for search engines. The title will naturally contain the keywords related to that web page. Neither - or _ have more value of the other when it comes to delimiters. They have the same value in search engines eyes. This is more of a cosmetic choice than an optimization choice. Again, in HTML mark-up the heading tag has it's purpose to structure content on a web page. It should not be used to stuff keywords into a web page. Used properly helps search engines understand the structure of your web doucment. There is no proof Yahoo! or Live Search use the meta keyword element due to the major abuse in the past. This is used by smaller search engines and by publisher networks to pull keywords for ads. Again, this should not be abused. The alt attribute is used when an image cannot be displayed in a browser; search engines also use this AND the file name to determine what the image is.
