I am taking a different approach to adsense sites by building lots of low comp sites that are easy to rank for rather than the higher ones because getting ranked takes a lot of work and effort and after months of seeing little to nothing I got bored and have given up for the time being). Any tips or good products for finding easy to rank for good traffic long tail keyword search terms? Anything I find surprisingly brings back more than 100k results in google with "" or there is just not enough searches.
I think use those keywords which are suggested by keywords finding tools. It is best for fast ranking.
Choose a few seed keywords (like weight loss, acne, travelling...related to you of course). Head to GKT (Google Keyword Tool) and insert your keyword. Select Exact match search only. Click on the column saying Local Monthly Searches to see them from highest to lowest. Pick all the phrases with 3+ words and 3000+ searches per month. Now, head to Google and insert one of your keywords in the search field (you will do this with every keyword). Below the search field a suggestion box will come up with long tail variants of your keyword. Use Up and Down arrows on the keyboard to navigate through them. If you hit Space Google will come up even more variants . Now write the keywords you found down and then head to GKT to check their search volume. With really long keywords I always stick with 100+ searches a month (1-2 very highly targeted visitors a day) Tibor
