I've make a little sale with my amazone affiliate. Thinking will get more selling using your guide. Thanks a lot
Sales / Page View ratios I'm interested in those statistics ... Is the 43000 visitors for one month? On that basis, the average sales conversion ratio is 0.0037 With respect, surprisingly low. Any comments by others on average Sales / Page View ratios ? Thanks, David Berghouse
How do you calculate that average sales conversion ratio? Anyway for May 2009, here are some new numbers: Total clicks 3996 Unique visitors 2586 Total items shipped 297 (I'm so close to the 7.5% commission tier) Average Per day 9.58 items Average earnings per item $1.60 Total Earnings $476.55 Amazon conversion rate (I use items shipped instead of items ordered) 297/3996 x 100% = 7.43% Under Google Analytics Total Visits 20418 Total Pageviews 70258 Click Through rate 3996/70258 x 100% = 5.7% If my Adsense have this kind of CTR I'll be rich already, but it's 0.05%. And my blog isn't all about reviews, it's got other stuff driving the pageviews as well. Bounce Rate 50% Time spent on site 4m 21s ---- For June unfortunately, I think it's going to hover around $300-400. It's really all about the traffic and quality of traffic.
If people visit my site not for the correct reason (which is to read the reviews) then there's no point to share my blog here. Anyway, my tips applies to all type of review sites. It can be a blog reviewing iPod accessories, shoes, gardening tools or anything. As long as you're helping people understand clearly what they are buying, you already have a very good chance of persuading them to buy. In fact, I will be moving on to review iPod accessories in the future, based on my own tips again.
Why would you guys prefer eBay? Anyway, I was rejected by eBay for whatever reasons I don't know. Not enough traffic probably.
Greeeeat thread. And 1000$ per month is a lot for many people. I suppose much time and energy has been invested in such achievement. Congrats for results.
re: Enhanced links v. Image links for selling books. I'm interested in the experience of others regarding their use of Enhanced links v. Image links. I've been using Enhanced links and am wondering whether they're a bit to 'pushy'. BTW, not using either just at the moment. What do others think ? Thanks,
