Hello, So i have a niche... its Investing. What I do is offering articles that are both informative on general stock market information / knowledge, as well as my top stock picks for the month. I also do videos to add on and attract more followers. I have used StumbleUpon and Mybloglog, what should be next? I found that Digg and reddit haven't necessarily been all that great at generating traffic for me. well, Did you SEO your blog? each post should have metatags etc. Wordpress has a plugin that's called all in one seo pack, that one is really useful. Secondly, Try to find some partners in your niche and ask them to make a quest post on your blog. Thirdly, use forums signatures that are related to your niche and make active posts.. etc etc etc
First, submit it to all the social bookmarking sites. Whether it gets traffic or not is not the issue. Often, digg or reddit articles will rank very high and can generate organic search traffic that way. The site I use for multiple social media submission is http://www.socialmarker.com Give it a try.

I would suggest that You should write some expert articles on investing and the stock market and submit them to http://www.ezinearticles.com Leave a link to your site in the bio box and then write many more! With a bit of luck, many people will read your articles (when listed on Google) and will like the info provided and click on your website link. The other great thing about submitting articles to EzineArticles.com is that your are likely to get other investment sites using your articles on their sites and that will mean that a percentage of their traffic will be re-directed to your site through the article link. One of the easiest ways to get traffic that has a huge CTR is forum marketing. For you, I'd recommend joining some investing/finance forums and citing your site as a source.
I agree with the above posts, become active in multiple investing forums (there are a ton of them) Give advice, have your sig link available to them. Go to yahoo answers and answer investing questions. Excange links with investing sites, or purchase links from investing sites. Article submissions work great. Tell your friends and family, co workers... Go to investing seminars with some business cards..make contacts. Good Luck
With your topic, if you could become a member of a few forums in your particular niche and contribute there with the link to your site in your signature.... it would work very well. Also answer some questions/opinions on Yahoo and Google groups. You could also do some cheap PPC (in lesser networks than Gogle) for a little time.

I know alot of people think entrecard is trash traffic. But if your starting out it can't hurt and the prices right.
