Tips on how to preserve a high pagerank

Hello everybody,

I know that questions like these have been asked a million times before, but I am really struggling with this one and I would appreciate any help.

I currently have a PR6 blog with more than 100,000 backlinks. Its monthly revenue depends solely on that high PR and thus I want to at least do my best to maintain it.

Are there any good tips you would like to share with me?

I am also particularly interested in the following sub-questions:

1) What should I take into account from now on when I am doing backlinking?

2) What should I avoid or do while placing my content?

3) Do I still need to do article submission?

4) Should I attempt to increase my SE rankings under certain keywords or that would be irrelevant for maintaining the PR?

The best backlinks are related to the site, and are considered "authority sites". Those type of links will result a decent PR.

 

You can build back links from relevant with high pr sites.

 

If you've managed to get your site to PR6 why do you think you need to start doing something different? Consistency is the key.. Just keep doing what you're doing!

If you are talking about preserving PageRank, then the most important thing is not to be seen to be selling text links .e.g. having tons of outbound links to unrelated sites, especially gambling and adult sites.

PR 6 is a really nice PR, IMO. The most important issue for keeping such a high PR would be updating your blogs with niche relative original contents regularly and keeping the blog comments manually on your sites also niche relatively.

PR 6 is really good . Use Twitter, make your followers, do daily tweet with your blog topic. it can help to get more visitors. Link exchange is another good way to increase back link.

Backlinking is important part to maintain PR of site. so try to get quality links from decent PR so you can maintain your PR as well as increase it

 

By that you probably mean that I should not use any automatic way to generate comments, right?

Obviously what you have been doing up to this point has been very successful. I would continue with that.

looks like you have done a very good job so far. Keep doing what you are doing, do not fall into the easy way with your back linking. But now maybe you should start working on some of the keyword you did not work on earlier, so you can get even higher placements.
