Tip #1: How to find a niche: This is very simple. The first question you should ask yourself is "Do I know a lot about a certain subject?", "Is there anything that I would be interested in getting into?", these are questions that can help you find a niche, if all else fails you can opt in to nicheaday.com (they will give you a niche each day with valubale keywords to use). Tip #2: How to Market Affiliate Products (free) Using a free blogger blog, find a product and do a bit of keyword research, write a few reviews on the product and post them on your blog. Write articles and submit them to the article directories with your blog link. This is all you have to do to make money online, it is that easy, but it takes hard work!
I generally try to stick to products that I am enthusiastic about. If I don't I tend to get bored writing about the subject! The more knowledge the better when it comes to selling products. I know I don't want to buy anything from someone who doesn't know about my product. Just put yourself in the consumers shoes. Good Tips for anyone looking to start affiliate marketing with no money. Thnx Curtis
do people really optin to niche a day? i see a lot of reference to opting in to that mailing list, but still not convince i should
Online Marketing is more important to get success in affiliate marketing because it is small part of whole.
The wonderful thing about opt in lists is that if you don't like things you can opt out. I opt in to probably twenty five different lists that spike my interest. I learned a lot from being on quite a few opt in lists over the years. Its just another tool in my bag..
Tips #3: Forum Marketing Yes, this is obvious, but how many of you actually take advantage of forum marketing. Hell, I'm doing it right now, but for a good cause. I'm not like other guru's that will tell you that I have an awesome product that can make you 13k in 30 minutes. It's not possible to accomplish this unless you have like 1m subscribers. Anyway, finding forums is easy, just type in your niche + forums in google, you should find tons. When you find a good forum to market too, don't spam your links, grow a relationship within the forum community, then add your website link into your forum signature.
I agree with you Curtis that building a simple blog with reviews of a product is one of the most simplest ways to make affiliate sales. Usually, you're not going to make big bucks with just one site unless you really make an effort to turn it into an authority site. A simple tip: Just use google's external keyword tool and search for "product + reviews". If you see at least 100 searches a month, there's money to be made. Seriously! Check the competition by typing "product reviews" in google and see how many results come up. If the results are less than a 500,000 and there are no major sites, just put up a Squidoo lens. You'll be amazed at how easy you'll get some affiliate commissions. Ok, this might be around $50 a month, but remember this is just one product review with one Squidoo page! Simply repeat with the process and the commissions soon add up. The downside is that it can get a bit boring and tedious. But if you just make yourself do one a day, it's quite easy eh?
Yes, bailey, this is what I try to teach people, you can put up crap content on a free blog and make money with one affiliate link if you put the effort in to it. In fact, I have a guy that has tested this out and gets 200+ a month from random blog, no SEO, no anything, just content and random affiliate links.
