I have applied for YPN and sent a follow up email and haven't heard much back. I have a few good programmer sites and others that are similar to my.yahoo.com (pages with aggregated content). It's been over a month since I last contacted them. Would mentioning how well I do with Adsense help persuade (I do well)? Are they not adding new publishers now? Any tips on getting into YPN is appreciated.
I submitted a site on software back in march and never heard anything, then again around the first part of Oct I submitted the same site again to the YPN program, two weeks later I got an acceptance email. My site doesn't get much traffic, I also am not into Yahoo advertising at all, or overtures PPC system. My brother who has a lot more professional looking site, with more traffic, and who is in most of the major PPC systems, has also applied twice to the YPN program, and hasn't ever heard a thing from them so far.
It took about 5 weeks until I got accepted. Applied early Sept. Accepted in October. So I'd be patient. It may be they are just back logged.
I am a Yahoo Advertiser (about $150 month, I would spend more if there system was more graceful). Should I mention that I send xx,xxx business and technology clicks to Adsense every month? Nintendo - Did you really mean prey? Should I consider Yahoo as prey or the clicking visitors as prey?
