A few simple tips below may be useful as signs for you in writing a new article in your blog. Some things to note are:

    1. Use the short and dense paragraph and sentence structure but clear. Would you like to listen to other people who talk long-winded, complex and not easy to understand? If yes, that was also felt by those who visit your blog. They want to get as much as possible information in the shortest time.

    2. While search engines like the complete article but the “Read More …” is still necessary. You still need a “Read More …” to ’save’ you from too long articles in your blog.

    3. Pictures or photographs should be included in the paragraph. Images and photographs that entered into the paragraph will be more harmonious with the rest of the article.

    4. Reduce personal info that is not necessary such as your logo, copyright and so on. Readers need your articles, not all your personal data.

    5. Original information is better to written. Although it’s currently difficult to get, unless you are a frequent visitor of the library and avid reader.

I also implement SEO techniques into my content and check my keyword density before publishing.

I always forget to use short sentences. Tend to get too conversational, and talk non-stop in blog post.

I would say keep everything pretty short, too. Not to say that it's pointless to write long articles, and every once in a while you'll get a burst of inspiration to do this, but keeping articles between 500-700 words and using pretty dense keywords will help your article get crawled faster and indexed by Google

I sometimes get going on a particular topic and find I've written a post that's much too long. At that point I just find a way to make it into more than one post, either as a series or just create enough difference to have their own titles.

Good tips. I think for quite a few people it is a big change to use shorted sentences and "dumb it down" when throughout school you're taught the opposite!

I disagree to a certain extent - it depends on the purpose of the blog. If you're blogging about SEO, for example, from a personal perspective, readers will want to know your personal business. It lends credibility to the blog.

Your logo is actually very important to the blog if it's part of your overall business model. I agree readers need information, but with a blog they should also have evidence of a credible source for that information.
