thanks for the share. you can also put custom templates for your blogs, there are many downloadable templates for blogs which has a good ads placement.
Although I do not favor it, you can insert ads by replacing <, >, " signs with "<", ">" and """ Code (markup): without the quotes, in your post. If you want them to float you can place them in a div.

i wish i could become a premium publisher some day - those ads are excellent.you could see them in labnol.org for example.
On the layout screen, click 'edit' on the blog posts section. Near the bottom, you have the adsense options.
I have tried some adsense friendly themes on my wordpress blog and i must say some of them really increase the click rate. Worth trying out some themes
