Hi all, I am new in seo and i have a site related to fashion cloth's .Which do not contain much content. Please give me some tips to optimize my site on the targeted keywords. I do not know the basic steps to optimize a site. Please help me.

You have to modify first your on-page factors. These are: Keywords - choose the most searched term/terms target keywords (the chosen keyword/s) - must be visible on the page (title, header, content, anchor texts, etc. ) page content - fresh contents are much appreciated
WTH r u smoking?? They arnt the steps.. first thing u need to do is 'in house' optimization. ie target the keywords and phrases ur after in the title and description. You need to research as much as possible. This is something you should not ask ppl to do for u as it is the 'balls' of your website. Now u wouldnt want some random dude (dude if ur a dude... chik if ur a chik) grabbing ur balls and changing them around?? You have to do this bit yourself. Just do some research (takes 10 mins) and get some nice phrases u wanna target. After this you get in a few directories and wait till listed in google before submitting to any more as if you pop up with heaps of links u could be seen as Mr. Spammer.

as an seo beginner, i think you must focus first in on page optimization afterwards proceed to off page optimization...You can also visit some seo tutorial for guidelines..
