tips for new bloggers to increase adsense earnings

Got here because of the title: "new bloggers....".

I have a blog dormant and don't know how to profit from it.

Tried to use one of those blog submitters and now I am only getting a lot of spamming.

I have about twelve articles there, but the spamming issue is horrible.

Since these spammers use bots, there are no visits to profit from Adsense.

How can I manage this?

I've turned off comments. Use a blog in conjunction with a website and twitter.
Blog updates get posted to twitter, and it seems to bring some traffic. Hard
to tell how much I make on adsense, as I can't seem to track it. I use blogspot
for the blogs, and I see nowhere google allows you to create a channel or
something. Many days I get clicks with no channel. I assume those are from
blogspot. Increase money by doing normal things that do. Increase relevant
content, increase relevant ads.
