Do you have any tips on making money online without doing lots of work?

Well there is no such thing like just sit and earn without work. You need to work hard firstly to earn or try to earn then thereafter when you establish your service/buisness you can see your money growing.
    Build websites
    Blog
    Start any services(Hosting e.t.c)

How about getting paid 15c-20c for every forum post? Just my two penneth. A site I joint-own offers such services in a friendly community. Of course though, as aforementioned, you cannot be lazy. Everyone has to work for their money!

Why would I freely post a way for people to not work and make money?

    That would be foolish.

Actually, there are a lot of ideas on DP.

As to "a lot of work," that depends on the person. It might take me one hour to put up a site with lots of content, but it might take you 5 days. It's all relative.

And I'd consider posting for 20 cents a post as hard work. I'd have to make 15,000 posts just to make $3,000. How many hours do you think that will take? Way too many.

Want a tip? Improve yourself so you don't have to work for slave wages.

That's one of the many bad ways to look at online businesses.
There is no making lots of money without lots of work at first.
You have to break the first barrier, make things work, succeed - and then you can enjoy wealth without too much work on your side, because all the dirty and hard work has already been done.

Find yourself something to work with, may it be websites, affiliate marketing, whatever. Afterwards, start educating yourself about everything regarding the subject you chose.
Put all the knowledge you've gained into practice, and experiment. You will fail, not once and not twice, but keep on going by learning from your mistakes.
Set yourself goals along the way.
Eventually, you'll get where you want to.

Spend a ton of money on a great established site. It will make money by itself. Although you may be in debt for awhile. :p

I wouldn't ever go in debt for a website. In fact I'd give it my all to avoid debt completely. There's really no need to spend any money you do not have on anything, same goes for a website.

We all have a mind that's just crying to have information thrown at it! Use that, begin at the bottom and work your way up to the very top. Albeit, you also have to have avid faith in yourself when things seem to be dragging on.

I assure you though, it's worth it in the end, just like DevilHellz said.

I think you guys are confusing the meaning of debt (or not :) ).

I bought a site last month for $80. I'm not in debt--far from it. What I am is $80 invested into this site.

    There's a difference.

    Why and how?

To purchase the site, I simply took $80 from my company's investing account (fancy name meaning that there's a bunch of cash sitting around waiting to be invested).

Now, had I used a credit card, loan or other financial instrument, because there wasn't a cash surplus, that would be debt.

When you BORROW assets from another party to make a purchase, that's debt. When you solely use your own assets, it's not.

It is hard to earn money without at least spending some time to work at it. There is no free lunch in this world.

Anyone who knows the answer likely wouldn't be willing to share their secrets since it would just make more competition for them.

The best things in life aren't usually free or even easy. But there is a certain enjoyment in working really hard on something (such as a website) and watching it take off. I have spent many hours building my retail log furniture and other sites, but the rewards have been well worth the effort. The sooner your roll up your sleeves and get started, the sooner you can see some results.

Definitely! I myself have dropped out of a few things in my life because they simply don't offer the challenges I am looking for in my early life at the ripe old age of 21. I think I may found my niché at last, I'm glad to say! Although that still doesn't mean I want to do it for another 10 years. Conquer and move on.
