I have a site that is a low paying niche. Is there anything that can be done to help improve my earnings per click?

No, except you change your niche and go for high paying niche.

Optimisation is the key. You can improve the CTR if not the EPC

It's really difficult to earn from low paying niche. But if your niche is popular, and you can optimize your keywords then I suggest that you create multiple blogs.

If you can optimize all of them, your chance of earning higher is higher. Imagine if you're number one, two, three, and so on and so forth in the search engines?

Of course, this is not that easy.

You can optimize your site's content by writing keyword rich content targeting those very keywords that are high paying overall. Next, you should promote your site to increase its reader/visitor base. Increased traffic (especially from search engines) will automatically raise the CTR, and giving you nice conversions.

Low paying is usually uncompetitive and so just opt for quantity and you should be able to cover some ground.

Not really. The answer is very straightforward. Change the niche, that's all.

In low paying niche there is only way to increase earning, drag more targeted traffic to your site.

More traffic = more clicks = more money.

Get more traffic or go for a related, higher paying niche. Also, try doing affiliate marketing as well. Throw up some ebay ads or something like that.
