What are some ways to increasing your pay per click on google adsense. I currently get decent page impression, but get about few click per day, altogether I receive between dollar. Not sure what I'm doing wrong:
If you haven't already, try to add CPA campaigns, you might be able to make more money. As for adense, try to blend in your ads with your page, use the same colors, etc.
i cease the art of blend. i think you should try to make it obvious. look to an example for this blogs above. try to make a comparison between them. which one will get the most click through. just my two cents. blended: womenfaq.blogspot.com not blended at all: babiesphotos.blogspot.com
My opinion is play around with the page and blending the ads vs. making them stand out. Try placing the ads at different places on the page and try different sizes, colors, etc. It's all about figuring out what works on your site and in your niche. Also, I've found that different niches convert differently even if you have the same pages set up.
Depending on your contents on your site.. like cosmo72 said, fixed the color and border, match your site background color and text color. I know Medical / Medicine is the best payout on google adsense..
Basically, three major factors are affecting your CTR. 1. Traffic source 2. Content 3. Ads setting / placement. To increase the CTR you need to focus on generating targeted traffic, make more quality content and play arround with your ads setting and placement. Those are the way to increase your CTR
you can also sign up for a traffic exchange site that requires people to click on your third party ads. i have 4 blogs which i made only for third party ads. my ads consist of chitika, adbrite, pogads, speedyads. i get between .05 and .20 per click from these ad companies. the traffic exchange i use gives you 1 page view in return for clicking on another persons ads. they in turn must click on one of your ads. you must set up a splsh page first so the ad companies dont see the reffering url is a traffic exchange. its very easy to do. u can pm me for the site
you need to work more on putting ads in right place , also its color and pattern should match with website. Try to work on your backlink to increase PR of your site.
