    Hi,

I would like to know the tips for getting a higher quality score in adwords.

I created an ad and got quality score of 7.

However I would like to have a higher score than 7.

Can any one suggest me the techniques I can adopt to raise the score.

    Thanks

A QS of 7 is not bad and a good start. Five is average. In the old system some years ago, you didn't get a number but a rating of Poor (QS 1 to 3), OK (4 to 6) and Great (7 to 10).

Read my Adwords FAQ for more details but in short, QS is mainly a measure of your CTR compared to other advertisers for the same keyword taking ad position into account. Therefore, to get higher QS, create better ads that get higher click rates.

Make sure your ad is well written and that the landing page is very relevant.

Optimize your ad campaign for your target demographic as much as you can and learn all you need to try to convert as many clicks and sales as you can. The more people you pull in and gain sales from, the higher quality rating you will have.

That is a great general PPC article, however there is not much detail specific to AdWords
I search broad and got no results, and this is something that is something that really should be included

    Thanks.

Uh, very specific to Adwords. Most other PPC services too as they work all pretty much the same way. The document explains the way they work and that is the intention of it.

You searched for broad? You mean you wanted more info on the broad match type? Again, the FAQ is not meant to tell you how to build and improve your campaigns. That's in the book that I sell called Master and Dominate PPC. I haven't updated the FAQ since its last update a year ago but I'll review it and do so, maybe have more definitions.

Make sure that the keyword is in your headline as well as on your landing page. Also make sure that you group your keywords together and use them to go to the most relevant landing page, don't just send everything to your home page.
