Tipping, what percent?

    Why do you even tip, it's not a law or somethign (some of you say you HAVE TO tip)

    Not in NY:D. One time me and my friend went to a Chinese restaurant. The guy got the bill was being cheap and gave only 8%. After we got out the door and the waiter found out, he ran out from the restaurant and yell at us for more tips

    and if you don't pay at all, don't ever go to that resturant again. They remember who don't tip

    Wow, you guys in the US really tip well. I used to work part time as a waiter when I was younger and In my crappy part of the world you would be lucky if you got .50€ per table because the people here are such unfriendly tight ass mofos.

    I tip 15%-20% for waiters.. For the pizza delivery guy, I tip 30% or more.

    I tip 15 to 20% here in New England. I tend to tip higher on lower cost meals where the service is excellent.
