I have a couple of unorthodox categories thrown in at Tip Top Directory, and I welcome suggestions too. Right now, I have a special top level category for MySpace and Xanga profiles, as well as one for Social Bookmarking Profiles, each with a few appropriate subcategories, which I accept suggestions for as well. The idea is that getting each of those types of sites backlinks will increase your backlinks by getting Google to assign higher PR to your social profiles, which gives more power to your own stuff you are promoting. Right now I only have a few social bookmarking site profile subcategories, but I need suggestions. In the future, when I am able to post in the Freebies section, I will propose using the Social Bookmarking >> Stumbleupon Profiles section to get everybody on here to make each other their friend, so we all can get more stumbles on our sites. I guess. I really just don't want people spamming me. I will try it. Doing it now, just so everybody knows. Also, I personally think the AJAX category selection is easier. Anyone think otherwise?
I think otherwise. Also, Javascript category selection has been found to cause browser crashes. I think it might actually be a conflict with one or more Firefox extensions, but I am not sure on that.
