Hi all, You have no tool to check keyword ranks? Tired of keeping an eye closely to your sitename or URL in Google SERPs? Here's something you may find useful. Required: Firefox browser & its addon Firebug Steps: 1. Open Google.com in Firefox; Type your keyword & Enter (ex: search engine optimization). Then click Advanced Search then choose 100 Results displayed. Then click Google Search to go back the SERPs. 2. Ctril + F or Edit/Find in this page & type your site URL (ex: www.digitalpoint.com). 3. Open Firebug (Tools/Firebug/Open Firebug). 4. Alt + N or click Next in Find box to find your URL (page 3 in this case). 5. If your URL's found. Click Inspect on your Opened Firebug. 6. Mouse over your site Title & notice the bold number below in Firebug: Free Webmaster Tools & Search Engine Optimization Tools Of course, your site's keyword rank is 287. Hope this helps a bit. Tapher.

@ Kodut & Pixel_boost: Thanks for your comments. I really like them, esp the way Kodut responded ;-) @ Yngvie: It depends on the site's update & keywords' levels ;-). Overall at least once a week for targeted/strategic keywords (just some) & once a month for all. Also I often check ranks 1-3 days right after site's major updates. Anyway its an interesting question & hope that other SEO guys can help. A newbie like me always welcome useful advices from the formers
Or you could just download Free Google Monitor tool. Once you enter your keywords, it requires 1 button click to check them all each time, plots if you have risen or dropped, your highest rank for each term etc.
