I agree with some of the other posts. If you are not building a list you are leaving serious money on the table. Most people don't buy the first time they see something if you aren't staying in front of them via list building and emails you have really decreased your chances of a sale. Quality targeted traffic is too hard to come by to let it go so easily.

 

I've been making money online for a few years now and never once bothered with any of that IM/guru crap they tell you to do. Never had an email list... probably never will.

If you think to internet gurus you will find the most simple way to make money: "SELL TONS OF DIFFERENT products" to your customers. More products mean more money because your customer can buy more from you. Simple but real.

 

List building can be profitable if done correctly but it's by far the most profitable path you can take.

 

For me, the key is to have target market.
And understand their needs and problems.
