Ya ive got captcha on the lowest setting possible, because like Dawg I struggle to read those things at time...and I think a lot of people feel the same.

Even with the lowest setting, it slows submission considerably, especially if you're planning to submit a lot of listings like some people do.

Turning off the captcha hasn't been a problem for our new general web directory, and was never used with our health specific directory.

With the latest version of phpLD, it's easy enough to delete the non-paying submissions if needed.

For example, I just submitted to your directory, as you know. :) If you did not have image validation, you would get over twice as many more submissions...

Ya mmm are you talking automated submissions though? I know there starting to get the automated scripts down to a fine art now. What script are you using if your using one..

Just watched the flash demo Chris, very very nice. Any plans to release a limited life demo? even just say with a 24 hour cutoff just to get a feel for it before buying. Also does it have reporting capabilities. The only other directory submission software that comes close to that is the one built into IBP which has custom reporting so you can onsell your submissions service to clients.

I ll keep this in mind from now onwards. Thanks.

All of them may not be scammers.

Sometimes people select the paid option by mistake. I have done that once or twice. The trouble is once the submit buttom is pressed the site cannot be submitted again with some other payment option.

We can't say either they are fake or genuine. i don't think directories get 4000 featured links just for pending, if it is really submited for featured listing better to delete the link within 72 hours atleast. Its my opinion only.
