Tiny Image in Affiliate Links?

I'm adding affiliate links to a wordpress blog. I believe the tiny pixel size images included with affiliate links are to track impressions. I'm trying to use a plug-in that will make my life 100X easier and auto link certain words with my affiliate links. If I do it this way, I can't include the little pixel, just the main URL for the affiliate link. I know most affiliate programs say not to mess with the link but will I still be credited if someone clicks on the link and I exclude the little pixel? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!

I'm sure you will be credited, but it's best to ask the program itself as some my be different, but doubt it very much.

I have used over 100 links where I have missed the little image and I still have had my commissions.

You should have a link without an image provided. In most cases you will be credited.
Another option: ask your affiliate manager, he should be able to give you the correct answer and solution :)
