How does one end up with a $0.10 (yes that's 10 cents) EPN commission on a $190 sale? This is really ticking me off.
They might have as well sent you a bill for commissions owed. What is that like almost a negative %%%????? That would tick me off as well. Lucky for me I don't deal With The EPN (Evil Partnered Network)...... That made my stomach turn.
commission is tracked and credited to the affiliate account upon the winning bid/bin being made. the sale may then for many reasons not go ahead so the seller is credited back his final value fee and you are credited back the negative commission that you were paid. This is something that you cannot challenge.
OK, sometimes sales don't go through. That I can accept. It's the microscopic commissions and the non-proportional commissions that drive me nuts.
well if someone has EPN accounts witch you are not using give me i will trun tem intro evil black hat cash machines,
I just got a $156 commission on the sale of a $5000 Rolex! Bizarre, that is the biggest sale I have ever had, I nearly fell off my chair! And I don't even have any Rolex niche sites! That's, what, 3.1%. Still pretty small (unless I get into the next tier this month), but I'll take it because it really does add up from EPN - sorry, but I am still addicted, EPN is easily my biggest earner still. I don't know why sometimes you get a crappy commission, I get loads of those, but the sales still add up overall. P.S. I am well aware the Rolex could be a dodgy sale and I could be deducted the money again. But I'm still sticking with it for now.
What category was it from? If it was from eBay autos, then that's why - it has a lesser payoff than regular ebay items.
You know, it seems like I get this all the time as well. Some of my biggest sales/commissions are from transactions that have absolutely nothing to do with any of the niches that I have EPN sites setup for. My best guess is that people use my site to get to ebay, the cookie is on their computer and then end up buying something else they had already planned on buying later. Does EPN work like that? I know what is how most other affiliate programs work.
Yeah, it's the cookie. I once had someone buy a custom-made horse saddle for almost $3000. The campaign had nothing to do with that. I guess there's something to say for just getting someone to view an auction and get that ebay cookie on their site.
