Timebomb Strategy, 3 .... 2 .... 1 .... BOOOOOOM

It's killing me, this waiting for the BOOM! I set up several strategies within the last 2-3 week, blogs - ppc (still testing and tweaking) - bums and even a squidoo lens (of which I'm not proud of, but I'm getting hops). So from all this work I've done I'm now getting 50-80 hops/day to all my programs together, BUT NO SALE YET! Why, why, why, why? Where is my BOOM?

I'm in the same boat man, lots of work, not lots of sales, but things have squeaked (not Boom) recently thanks to some good advice on these forums - spend time reading stuff here - its free and a goldmine of info!

Remember..if you build it they will come :)

    Keep goin!

You must work SMART more than hard. You are getting a decent traffic, but the conversion is not happening. I can think of two reasons.

    1. Targeted traffic
Your traffic must be from a hungry crowd who is willing to buy a related product to your website.
Example: It is no point of getting traffic from a Golf lovers forum to a Soccer website.

    2. Quality content
Content is the king. Customer should believe you first before buying anything from your website (or from your affiliate merchant). The best way is to provide quality information about the product or service. Just ware customer's hat for a moment and visit your website. Then ask a question "why should I trust this website and what is special in this website?"

It is also better to have Adsense type ads at the early stage to start earning rather than waiting for sales.

Check to see if the product that you are promoting has any other payment methods incase you are loosing your visitors to other payment processors. It could also be that the particular product you are promoting has sloppy sales copy, a poor landing page or just isnt converting any more.

    Hi Jsny,

If you are using ppc marketing and you are targetting the right and related keywords, then I think it should either be your landing page problem or you are promoting a product with crappy sales letter. You might want to look into this.

If you do not mind, you might consider to put your blog up here so that we can help you.

It's interesting... I worked like a maniac like a month ago promoting a product using my own strategies. I got my first sale in 4 days from scratch... I was VERY excited because I thought I was gonna get way more frequent sales on that product after that... but no.

No more sales after that... until yesterday. It was like BOOM, and the sales started coming NOW. I got two sales on it yesterday and one today, so far.

    Patience mate.

Yep, be patient. It takes a bit for the search engines to start indexing your pages.

Just had a major setback, my wordpress blog was suspended! I have no idea why, because I only did reviews on diets on the blog. I've contacted the support, but I recon chances are slim to get it back! $400 advertising and hours of work lost, and I only started making money from it!

    Sorry to hear that.

Wordpress is pretty strict when it comes to commercial content on wordpress.com blogs. I love wordpress, but I switched back to blogger to avoid those headaches. Everyone gets down on blogger, but they have really changed lately with tools, templates, and more.
