When I was hiring my first employee from the from the Philippines, I wondered: "Ok, this worker seems amazing... but how am I going to know if they are working or not?" "How can I accurately track the time worked?" (So they don't overcharge me) "How can I make sure they are working and not on Facebook?" "How can I make sure that the work they are doing... is exactly what I want?" My solution to that is Hyperhour, it's a lightweight time tracking client that tracks time worked, screenshots and provides reports at the end of the week. It's simple, reliable and I had it up and running within a few minutes. Cons: There are no 'project management' features included, it's solely for tracking time, screenshots and activity... but it does that very well. Pros: Super simple to use, secure and reliable.
Hyperhour tracks to the second & syncs with the main server so people can't cheat it... therefore Time Doctor is not the most accurate software.
Tracking on the employees performance is essential especially due to the increasing technology advances, social networking which is highly consuming much of the work hours.....
