We know that natural tragedy in Myanmar has made a serious humanitarian crisis in last week. By most reliable estimates, close to 100,000 people are dead. People are in the crisis of food and pure drinking water. Lots of the people are living under the open sky having lost everything. This is crisis, as a human we can do something for them. So all of us should come to help them according to our own capabilities By the same time, we should cautious about our environment. We should discuss the issues which are creating problems to our environment. If such environmental pollution going on, once the whole world will face problem
Yes its god to discuss the problems but its more important to look for the solutions to those problems and most importantly implement those solutions
It is awful what's going on and it's a shame that the Government is making it almost impossible for others (like the UN and the US Navy) to help. The US Navy Had to Ships very close to Myanmar that where there to practice for this type of emergency - almost immediately they could have flown supplies into the devasted parts of the country - but their Government refused the help - http://www.nydailynews.com/news/us_world/2008/05/08/2008-05-08_myanmar_government_refuses_us_aid.html There Government is REALLY screwing up - I think one area where this world really comes together is to help people during catastrophes like this -
Yes... We should all work together to solve problems and not making new problem to our environment. At the same time we should come to aid those helpless people
How about we listen to the people when they're desperately crying out for help BEFORE they hit the prime time news due to a natural disaster. The problem is not the cyclone. It's the government.
