Time to quit adsense

I think it's time to pull adsense off my site for the following reasons:

There are so many MFAs that have nothing to do with my site. They put words in the text to mislead people into clicking on them. I can only ban 200 hundred of them and that's not enough.

I get about 5000 page views a day and have gone from making $10 to 20 a day to .03 to 1.50. This is a waste of my time and web space. Why in the world am I giving adsense space on 2000 pages for no more than $1.50 a day?

Visitors are getting smarter, they aren't going to click on adsense ads and be taken to some web page that has nothing to do with what they are interested in.

I have taken adsense off my home page and replaced it with what I think are creative affiliate ads that I made. They are on the bottom of the page. On the first day I made 13.56 from these.

I do really well with ebay. Amazon may have to go to as I'm not making much with them.

I have tried my best with adsense but I believe that just don't care as long as they are making money. As long as we continue to put their cheap ads on our pages they will not make any changes.

It works for some, not for others. I've definitely seen a wide range in results with adsense. If you take the time to work with some affiliate programs they can definitely feed you more money than adsense - but it is more work. I'd yank it too for $1.50 a day off of 5000 page views. Obviously the ads shown aren't working for you're community. You could try various ways to bump your CTR, but even doubling it would only provide you with up to $90/month.

I have already removed 2/3 of all ads on my site.i hate members exiting my sites for a meager 0.01$ ads.if google must put such low cost ads then least these ads should open in new windows.

A lot of things that you said are true and there's nothing we can actually do about them. Not for other things though.

I've tried adbrite and its not bad at all.

I get about anywhere from $0.10 to $1.50 per click.

That varies from day to day though.

maybe you just frustated.Don't hope so much or depend so much for adsense but try something else if you want to make money online. Many of webmaster out there treat adsense as their alternative income.Give you some ideas.Make videos about how to make a wedding flower decoration and sell the videos to others.:)

Try to get accepted to YPN. I hear it's superb.

They won't come out of beta for like 30 more years, so good luck.

quit doesn't make you stronger.just don't put your effort to much on adsense.Find some alternative.Don't look somebody else.look into yourself and develop your truly talent that hidden in you.

don't treat yourself as a slave for money.do what you know or best that you can.example, maybe you can start blogging about your hobbies.Develop your skill day-per-day.And then money come to yourself at the time you didn't expect.:)

I am aware of that, I just used that term to find it quickly as I couldn't remember the name. But I would think that google would be more up to date

    Agreed about MFA Sites.

I have a Teen Site, and I find ads putting similar titles like Teen Magazines and page opens into a Yahoo Answers page!

Then that Public Service Ads by Google pissess me off and even more when It gets clicked. I saw in stats where it showed Exit URL was adsense click on a directrelief.org one and that shows up at some pages.

What is this doing, Visit Top Teen Sites for the keyword Teen Pregnancy and the url shown below in green coloured, it never opens. A web search from other websites. They slow down my earnings to death!

But adsense is the only one at the moment and so I have been trying. If my forum grows more and income doesnt increase. I might instead Sell banner ads!
