Today i was searching some low competitive keywords, i almost got them, but my question i found that the main keyword is about '45,500,000' monthly searched. these are also good paying by low competitive. My question is if i start working with my keyword with a 2 years old domain having good PR, how much time it take for good result in SERP. Remember My competitors are on top with thousand of B/L and almost with 5-10 years old sites.
It depends. Google is updating search rankings daily. It would be best if you will optimize your site on-page first and then off-page. Just do the normal submissions and then you can start seeing your progress in search rankings.
How i am thinking to work with. Submit at least 3 articles in 100 article directories in one week with minimum PR2 and alexa rank under 100000, and blog comments with above pr3. what do you think how much time its take. can google penalize me for this?
I don't think anyone can give you a precise answer for your question.. Maybe this question will help: Is your site going to provide greater value than the current top ranking site?
Aged domain might help you a little but but it also depends on how backlinks of that old domain remains. The PR does not matter in this case. You can have any rank in Google regardless to how much PR your domain has. It is hard to predict a time but I would estimate around 3-6 months minimum depend on how competitive of those keywords. I meant real competitive by your competitor and not the estimated numbers by those keyword tools. Sometime they aren't that accurate at all.
as i said my competitors are with thousand of B/L, but I'll take this task. lets see how much time it takes.
Indeed as many said...it depends. You have to see first who is at the top 10, why are they at the top 10 and what weakness they have that you might take advantage of that. The age of the domain isn't as important as many emphasize it, even tho it does add some value. Currently I have several new sites that are outranking 10+yrs old sites (and I mean sites, not domains) by just exploring their weak points (it could be on page optimization or anything else). By the information's you have provided it is really hard to say how much time it might take, if you are really good doing SEO it might take less (but I bet you know better how much it will take). One thing is for sure, if you intend to outrank those old authoritative sites only with article marketing then without any doubts I am going to tell you that you are taking the wrong road. Just my 2 cents....
@Trapped --> Then what is better way to get good rank in your opinion? In images you see there is very little competition, then what to do?
I second the motion. Waiting for Trapped's answer and very excited about it that if he wants to answer this question
