How much time does pass from the time your site get indexed by search engines to the time you start getting some good traffic from it, let say around 100 visitors a day ? Lets say that your site is a blog and you fill it with content every week or so ? In my personal example, i started some blogs month ago, 4 are health related and 1 is about laptop reviews. Those health related got maybe 10 visitors all together for month, and that with reviews get around 10 a day. I am interested to hear in your personal experiences.
First of all I think it's best to concentrate on 1 blog at a time and get that to be successful instead of trying to maintain 5 at a time.
Doesn't you host account have a stats page to see what search engines are crawling the site? Most start crawling within days of picking up a link to your site from another site. If you submitted to any engines they start within hours usually. Traffic from search engines could take forever if you do not have a domain name that includes a popular search term related to the content of the site. 100 a day? You want a hell of a lot more than 100 a day. You need to do more than rely on search.
@sensational Yup i do have that, but you did not understood me, i got my blogs indexed by google the next day i finished them, they are indexed for a month. And they do not get my any traffic from search engines. And yes in fact, i do know that 100 visitors is nothing, i am not that kind of newbie, i just can't get even 1 visitors a day.. for a month.
From my past experience, after my site is indexed by google. It take around 5 day to get traffic from google. And the best part is the traffic from SE is continue to grow from day to day without much promoting.
The time taken to bring traffic to your blog / site depends on your ability to promote and market. It took at least a month for the UVs to touch 20 and another two months to score a century.
